Visit NYC *and* Learn About Careers In Finance

Did you know that many L&S alumni have found themselves in financial services career paths? Finance careers are not just for business majors!

Skills/attributes include: people skills, writing, work ethic, ability to influence others, research, and an aptitude for numbers.

Are you interested in an internship (and ultimately a career) in financial services?

Are you a sophomore/junior looking for an internship the summer of 2018? Yes, that’s right 2018. Finance internship recruitment starts early! Applications open a whole year before the internship!

What are the areas of financial services? Corporate finance, commercial banking, investment banking, wealth management, asset management, equity research, and sales/training.  Learn more after the cut!

Through the Badgers in Finance Initiative, UW-Madison has the goal of bringing 15-20 students out to New York to meet with a variety of companies in the financial services industry and network and learn from alumni in the field. Most expenses will be covered and scholarships for those with financial need are also available.
