Interested in Summer Internships? (Want some funding?)

Of course you'd like a summer internship!  The College of Letters and Science Career Services has two programs that are designed to promote summer internships: the Badger Internship Program, which can help you find a position and will provide specialized mentoring, and the Summer Internship Scholarship, which awards scholarships to students with internships that are otherwise unpaid.  Information about these programs is behind the cut, but you can also make an appointment with Christina, the History Department Career Advisor, for help finding a summer internship.  

College of Letters and Science Badger Internship Program
Internships are a crucial step toward finding a career that aligns with your personal goals and passions. The Letters & Science Badger Internship Program helps you navigate the internship search process, provides individualized support throughout your internship, and gives you access to exclusive resources like alumni mentors.  The deadline for students who want to participate in the Summer 2017 program is March 29, 2017.  You do not need to have an internship in-hand to apply - the program provides assistance in locating a summer internship.  See the Badger Internship Program for more information: 

College of Letters and Science Summer Internship Scholarship
The College of Letters and Science has a scholarship program to support students who wish to take an unpaid internship during the summer session. The scholarships range from $2000-$5000 and are open to students in an L&S major who are graduating in December 2017 or May/August 2018. Preference is given to students who do not have prior internship experience and/or who arseeking internships in the non-profit, humanitarian, scientific research or government sectors.  You MUST already have an internship offer to apply for this program.
